How to Use

1. Before first use, calibrate the instrument with distilled water according to the supplied instructions.
2. Open the daylight plate and place 2–3 drops of the fluid to be tested onto the main prism using the supplied pipette.
3. Close the daylight plate over the sample.
4. Look through the eyepiece and adjust the focus until the scale is clearly visible.
5. Read the result from the appropriate scale for the fluid being tested.
6. After testing, clean and dry the instrument according to the supplied instructions.
